Medical Translations

In addition to my background in the Humanities and Social Sciences, I have specialised in the translation of medical and pharmaceutical documents. To date, I have translated a wide range of different texts, including documents relating to clinical trials in Europe South America, Patient Information Leaflets (PIL) and Summaries of Product Characteristics (SmPC) for medicinal products, operative reports, medical questionnaires. I am particularly interested in the following areas:

  • Clinical trials
  • Medical research papers
  • Public Health and Regulation
  • Cardiology
  • Psychiatry and psychotherapy
  • Cerebrovascular diseases and stroke treatment

I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting Medical Network, and attend specialist workshops organised by the Network in order to further solidify my proficiency in this field. Please see my CPD page (coming soon!) for a full list of completed courses and workshops.
